ORDINANCE NO. 515

AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE PROVIDING

FOR A DELINQUENCY PREVENTION COMMISSION

The Board of Supervisors of the County of Riverside, State of California, do ordain as follows:

Section 1. The Juvenile Justice Commission of the County of Riverside is hereby designated to serve ex officio as the Delinquency Prevention Commission of the County of Riverside. Membership on the Juvenile Justice Commission shall automatically result in membership on the Delinquency Prevention Commission. The Delinquency Prevention Commission shall have the powers and perform the functions specified in Section 233 of the Welfare and Institutions Code and other provisions of law.

Section 2. The Probation Officer of the County of Riverside shall provide necessary staff service to the Delinquency Prevention Commission and shall perform such administrative, fiscal and related services on its behalf as may be necessary or required.

Section 3. The actual and necessary expenses of members of the Delinquency Prevention Commission may be paid from funds available and appropriated for such purpose.

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days after its adoption
