ORDINANCE NO. 796
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF
RIVERSIDE
ALLOWING THE SALE AND FURNISHING
OF ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES AT CLOTHING OPTIONAL
RESORTS,
CAMPGROUNDS, AND FACILITIES UNDER
SPECIFIED CONDITIONS
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Riverside Ordains as follows:
Section 1.
CONDITIONS GOVERNING THE SALE OR FURNISHING OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AT CLOTHING OPTIONAL RESORTS, CAMPGROUNDS, AND FACILITIES. As per the authority granted by Business and Professions Code section 25750 a clothing optional resort, campground or other facility may furnish or offer for sale to its members and their guests beer, wine and other alcoholic beverages, for consumption on the premises only, provided the following conditions are met.
a) The resort, campground or facility was in existence prior to January 1, 1977.
b) The resort, campground or facility is maintained and operated in full compliance with all land use regulations including proper zoning and all conditions specified in any conditional use permit that may be applicable.
c) The Sheriff, and local police chief when applicable, has certified in writing that based upon his investigation no police or law enforcement problem would be created at the facility or surrounding area by the serving of such alcoholic beverages.
d) The resort, campground or facility has obtained all licenses and clearances that are required from the state Alcoholic Control Board and is operating in full compliance with all statutes, laws, regulations, and policies relating to the sale of alcoholic beverages.
Section 2.
EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be effective 30 days following its adoption
