ORDINANCE NO. 798

 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE

REPEALING OBSOLETE, SUPERSEDED OR UNCONSTITUTIONAL

ORDINANCES AND PORTIONS THEREOF FOR THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE

 

 

The Board of Supervisors of the County of Riverside ordains as follows:

 

         SECTION 1.         Ordinance Numbers 381, 542, 584, 604 and 618 are hereby repealed.

 

         SECTION 2.         The following ordinances are hereby amended as follows:

 

A.      Ordinance No. 366, Section 12: Where it currently reads "female persons," it is amended to read "male or female persons."

 

B.      Ordinance No. 366, Section 13: Where it currently reads "a woman attendant or matron," it is amended to read "an attendant."

 

C.      Ordinance No. 397, Section 1: Where it currently reads "Government Code Section 53730 to 53736," it is amended to read "Government Code Section 53730.5 to 53737." 

 

D.      Ordinance No. 397, Section 6 is deleted in its entirety.

 

E.       Ordinance No. 413, Section 15a: Where it currently reads "Section 22511.5 or Section 9105," it is amended to read "Section 22511.55 and 22511.59 or 5007."

 

F.       Ordinance No. 413, Section 15b: Where it currently reads "Section 2211.5 or Section 9105" it is amended to read "Section 22511.55 and 22511.59 or 5007."

 

G.      Ordinance No. 413, Section 15e: Where it currently reads "Section(s) 22511.5 or 22511.9" it is amended to read "Section(s) 22511.55 or 22511.59."

 

H.      Ordinance No. 499, Section 9: Where it currently reads "$500" it is amended to read "$1,000."

 

I.       Ordinance No. 512, Section 1 is amended in its entirety as follows:

 

   "Section 1.  Pursuant to Section 21657 of the California Vehicle Code, one-way highways requiring that vehicular traffic shall proceed in one direction at all or such times as shall be indicated by official traffic control devices, may be established by the Board of Supervisors upon county highways."

 

J.       Ordinance No. 512, Section 2: Where it currently reads "Road Commissioner" it is amended to read "Transportation Director."

 

K.      Ordinance No. 515, Section 1: Where it currently reads "Section 535.5 of the Welfare and Institutions Code" it is amended to read "Section 233 of the Welfare and Institutions Code."

 

L.       Ordinance No. 517, Section 2a: Where it currently reads "ten (10)" it is amended to read "fifteen (15)."

 

M.      Ordinance No. 534, Section 6 is amended to read in its entirety as follows:

 

"Section 6.  Disposition of Bovine Animals, Horses, Mules or Burros.   Upon impounding of any bovine animal, horse, mule or burro, the Health Officer shall comply with Food and Agriculture Code Section 17003 and immediately notify the Secretary of Food and Agriculture."

        

         N.    Ordinance No. 534, Section 14 is deleted in its entirety.

        

O.      Ordinance No. 534, Section 15 is renumbered Section 14.

        

P.       Ordinance No. 534, Section 16 is deleted in its entirety.

        

Q.      Ordinance No. 534, Section 17 is renumbered Section 15.

 

R.    Ordinance No. 580, Section 2b: Where it currently reads "Article 11 (commencing with Section 27670)," it is amended to read "Section 114.50 et seq."

 

S.    Ordinance No. 626, Section 5c: Where it currently reads "Section 22511.5" it is amended to read "Section 5007 or 22511.55 and 22511.59."

        

T.    Ordinance No. 657, Section 1M: Where it currently reads "Section 28740 et seq." it is amended to read "108100 et seq."

 

U.    Ordinance No. 659, Section 13: Where it currently reads "Section 53077 of the Government Code," it is amended to read "Section 66006 of the Government Code."

        

V.      Ordinance No. 662, Section 1 is amended in its entirety as follows:

 

Section 1.  Purpose and Authority.  In accordance with Section 9314 of the Public Resources Code, the application for appointment as a director of a Resource Conservation District shall be the Declaration of Candidacy form prescribed in Elections Code Section 10511, as provided by the Registrar of Voters.  Completed applications are to be filed with the Registrar of Voters by the applicable filing deadline date."

 

W.      Ordinance No. 718: Where it currently reads "California Health and Safety Code Division 20, Chapter 6.1," it is amended to read "California Health and Safety Code Division 14, Part 14" and any reference to Article 2 shall no longer apply.

 

SECTION 3.         This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from the date of its adoption.
