2          PUBLIC COMMENT

 

2.1       Veronica Langworthy spoke regarding the Registrar of Voters and vote by mail. 

 

2.2       Kisha Collier, Desiree Sanchez, Isha Sharma, Fidel Chagalla spoke regarding budget hearing, budget for public safety, housing programs and transparency on the budget process.

 

2.3       Greg Langworthy spoke regarding a meeting with the Registrar of Voters, signature process and audits for election process.

 

2.4       Arturo Rur spoke regarding his work in the community with “Starting Over” and the need to help people that are released from being incarcerated.

 

2.5       Nathan Kempm, Bryan Sanchez, Ipyani Lockevt and Adriana Torres Ceja spoke regarding public safety budget, transparency, and the need to expand housing programs.

 

2.6       Mariela Loera and Perry Elerts spoke regarding the need for infrastructure in the Coachella Valley area, benefits for the community and more housing programs.

 

2.7      Nataly Escibedo Garcia spoke regarding the need for more efforts to benefit the community, public health programs and affordable housing programs.

 

2.8       Roy Bleckert spoke regarding the need for more transparency with the budget and community meetings prior to bringing the budget to the Board.

 

2.9       Lisa Blodgett spoke regarding Animal Services.

 

2.10    Greg Bradbard and Rafael Guzman spoke regarding support for the Blue Zone Project in County of Riverside.

 

The Chair declared the meeting adjourned to Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
