OPENING COMMENTS:

 

   BOARD MEMBERS

   Supervisor Benoit thanked Officer Byrd. He also acknowledged the Riverside Seriff Association for becoming the 50th donor on the efforts to build the Law Enforcement Museum.

   Supervisor Ashley mentioned he would like to honor Yesenia Hernandez an 11 year old child that was killed in a car accident right in front of her parents.

   Supervisor mentioned the State of the County will be held on December 3, 2012.

   Supervisor Benoit mentioned the Canadian Job fair.

   Tom Freeman mentioned that the job fair will be held on December 4, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

3.5       DISTRICT ATTORNEY:  Acceptance of the FY12 Intellectual Property Theft Enforcement Program Grant Award from the U.S. Department of Justice; and Adoption of Resolution 2012-217 authorizing the District Attorney or his designee to sign the Grant Award Agreement on behalf of the Board. 3.6       ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGENCY:  Acceptance of the Notice of Completion – Riverside County Regional Medical Center Emergency Treatment Services Conference Room Project; and Authorize the Release of Retained Funds, 5th/5th District.

3.14     PUBLIC HEALTH:  Ratify the Agreement with Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG) for Public Health Nursing Services to the homeless population; and Approval of the Budget Adjustment (Contract NO. 13-023). (4/5 vote required)

3.22     TRANSPORTATION AND LAND MANAGEMENT AGENCY/TRANSPORTATION:  Approval of a Cooperative Agreement between the County of Riverside and the City of Corona for Magnolia Avenue and Neece Street Traffic Signal Project, 2nd/2nd District.

3.23     TRANSPORTATION AND LAND MANAGEMENT AGENCY/TRANSPORTATION:  Approval of a Cooperative Agreement between the County of Riverside, County Flood Control and Conservation District and Starfield Sycamore Investors, LLC for the Temescal Canyon- Bunting Circle Storm Drain Line A, 1st/1st District. 3.24     TRANSPORTATION AND LAND MANAGEMENT AGENCY/TRANSPORTATION:  Approval of a Cooperative Agreement between the County of Riverside and the City of Eastvale for Limonite Avenue Resurfacing Project, 2nd/2nd District.
