16.3     Kris Pillow spoke regarding litter on the streets and highways in CA and not in other states and requested the laws be enforced for to prevent people from littering.

 

16.4     Anita Rhodes spoke regarding Critical Race Theory (CRT) and the division it is causing.

 

16.5     Mercedes DeLeon spoke regarding Critical Race Theory (CRT) asking the Board stand against CRT and stated that America is not racist.

·         Impacts of SB9 and SB10 Challenges for departments involving zoning and rural areas

·         Hiring challenges in departments due to low wages and retaining people they want to keep and bringing on new hires

·         Waiting on UCI funds from the Federal government for communities and losing the money if not spent in time

·         TLMA look into equestrian communities involving SB9 and SB10

 

Supervisor Spiegel:

·         Impact of SB9 and SB10 removing local control but forcing local responsibility and the lack of infrastructure for the required increase in building

·         State of the County put on hold and looking into other options to recognize everyone

 

Supervisor Hewitt:

·         Requested that TLMA bring a presentation to the Board regarding SB9 and SB10 impacts
