            BOARD MEMBERS  Supervisor Stone mentioned the Anza tire collection was very successful. He also commended 2nd Grade school teacher, Lori Fox, for receiving Hemet/San Jacinto teacher of the month and De Anza teacher of the year. He also mentioned Hemet High School sports teams are winning CIF championships. Lastly, he commended the RSO gang task force in Hemet for their hard work.

 

            EXECUTIVE OFFICER,  Jay Orr mentioned budget hearings will take place June 17, 2013 and June 18, 2013. He also mentioned the World Trade Investment Summit coming up at the Diamond club June 6, 2013 and the Economic Summit in Temecula Wine Country coming up June 5, 2013.

 

            STATE BUDGET UPDATE  Supervisor Benoit mentioned that he and Supervisors Ashley and Tavaglione attended a special meeting last Thursday, May 30, 2013 to discuss Perris Valley Line Issues, May Revisions for Riverside County, AB 109 issues and Implementation of ACA Health Realignment.

 

            Doug Bagley gave a Powerpoint presentation on the Implementation of ACA Health Realignment.
