CUP 3433/V1786 to develop a 3,637 square foot ARCO gasoline service station, including the concurrent sale of beer and wine for off-premise consumption on 1.58 gross acres. This project will also include a 941 sq. ft. car wash area, as well as a 4,602 sq. ft. canopy area. A total of 24 parking stalls, on-site advertising and associated landscaping will also be provided. 1.9       TRANSPORTATION & LAND MANAGEMENT AGENCY/PLANNING:  SURFACE MINING PERMIT NO. 129, REVISED PERMIT NO. 1 – EA 37104 – Valley Rock and Sand, Inc./Webber and Webber – Chuckwalla Zoning District – Eastern Coachella Valley Area Plan - 4th District, 310.81 gross acres, W-1, N-A, and M-R-A zoning.  Surface Mining Permit 129 R1 revises existing Surface Mining Permit No. 129 for a reclamation plan for an existing sand and gravel mine, approved by the Planning Commission.

 

1.10     TRANSPORTATION & LAND MANAGEMENT AGENCY/PLANNING:  SURFACE MINING PERMIT NO. 162, REVISED PERMIT NO. 2 – CEQA Exempt – RRM Properties, Ltd – Pass & Desert Zoning District – The Pass Area Plan – 5th District, 517 gross acres, W-2-10 and M-SC zoning.  Surface Mining Permit 162 R2 to revise application to expand mining and reclamation plans to include additional property to the south of the current mining operation, across the San Gorgonio River; increase the maximum production rate from 1.5 million tons per year to 4.5 millions tons per year; transport the majority of the sand and aggregate from the site using adjacent rail facilities instead of trucks; increase the life of the current permit from 2001 to 2041; and bring the existing conditions into compliance with current standards, approved by the Planning Commission.
